deep inside, ancient violence,
wars have been waged
for less, but silence
in the face of injustice:
what have we become?
โcivilized.โ whatโs civil
about the way weโre living?
when, instead, we should be
givingโฆ more to the
cause, to humanity.
is violence the solution?
it canโt be. weโve tried that.
tried and trueโ
known to cause hurt &
confusion. destroys.
what rises from the ashes
of senseless death?
so, thenโฆ
โหโก what is the solution? โกหโ
no one asked for my
two cents, but I will
offer up these pennies
pinched between my
fingers, just for you.

the earth givesหยฐโข*โโท
life
joy
strength
love
voice
insight
wisdom
to each and every one of us.
we scorn these gifts by lingering in toxic patterns.
weโve all heard the adage, โhistory repeats itself,โ
which is as defeatist as, โit is what it is.โ
why hold onto these tired notions?
we stand before our mother,
giving excuses.
history need not โซโซโซ r e p e a t โซโซโซ
