for the spiritual girlies

flower power: may 1, 2026 full moon β‹†β‹…𖀓⋅⋆

hey, cosmic babes~

did you miss me? what can I say? I’m an ariesβ€”so by nature, I am brilliant at coming up with incredible ideas … & have like 0 follow-through ….. *sigh* I’m working on it.

q°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°q

speaking of self-work! do you vibe with astrology? okiiiii. let’s talk about tonight’s full moon in scorpio, which is just begging us to confront hidden truths and embrace personal growth. α•™( β€’Μ€ α—œ ‒́ )α•—

now, pluto is in my 9th house in scorpio (and the moon is t-boning pluto today or whatever so there’s that) & that means I need to reevaluate outdated belief systems.

pro tip: you can easily find which house scorpio resides in within your chart by looking up a free natal chart. below, you’ll find what you need to work on based on that bit of info! remember, ignoring the issue means it remains an issue. womp womp.

me? I work so hard each and every day to improve myself in ways that are often internal; the external tends to overwhelm me (hence, my tendency to go ghost) … but I just read this post on facebook that said their POV shifted when they realized that procrastination was a different type of heaviness than just doing the damn task … hold on. let me go fetch the image. I think I shared it …

*off to the internet realms, weeeeeeee*

ok, I’m back. I found it. voila!~

so, anyway. I’m going to use that much-needed advice & this full moon to slingshot myself forward, as I let go of outdated beliefs. who’s with me??

now, I’m no expert in astrology (disclaimer); however, I do pay attention to the daily astrology forecast & I will always ALWAYS do research before posting about it. we are here, learning and growing together! I’ll even hold your hand through it, as long as you don’t make it weird … ok, moving on to the juicy bits (not THOSE juicy bits; keep your mind out of the gutter!)

according to kate forster (astrologist), here is what you need to work on today, depending upon where scorpio lives in your chart. yes, I am making them a little less brutal than how she would word it BUT same same.

she calls these “celestial instructions.” looooove it. anywhoozles …

1st house: stop performing for others
2nd house: break a pattern when it comes to your financial situation
3rd house: stop trying to keep the peace; say what you need to say
4th house: your past is still running the show; retire attachments to the past
5th house: reevaluate what you do for fun (reflect on the desires that drive your creative pursuits)
6th house: it's time to get organized to improve your daily life
7th house: work on your boundaries with others; raise your standards in relationships
8th house: let go of control issues; time to surrender more deeply
9th house: let go of outdated belief systems
10th house: stop hiding; let go of the worry that people won't like you
11th house: reevaluate your relationships; have you outgrown your social circle?
12th house: stop ignoring the patterns that no longer serve you; be honest with yourself and FEEL THE FEELINGS

πŸŒΏβ‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…βŠ°βˆ™βˆ˜β˜½ΰΌ“β˜Ύβˆ˜βˆ™βŠ±β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…β‹…β€’β‹…πŸŒΏ

if we don't address these things, they will keep getting louder & as kate forster puts it: "that's never pretty."

so, here's me addressing it ... you can stay for my example or you can take your short attention span & woop woop away to your own house. but, for the love of yourself, take some time today to sit with yourself (sans distractions) and reflect upon this. πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

me? I lit a red candle. I called back my power: from the past, the present, and the future. I focused on releasing what no longer serves me. then, I meditated on it. & that resulted in the intense desire to write the following:

I release the belief that I should be what others expect me to be. I've been told from a young age what I should be, how I should act, what I should look like, how much I should earn, where I should live, etc. oh, and of course, what I should NOT be like ... which was often pointed out to me, loudly and not so subtly.

I release the belief that I must improve every moment. my mind focuses on what it needs to fix, every moment of every day. it is f*cking exhausting. it's constantly prompting me to fix myself, my environment. & though I'm always growing, I have a tendency not to appreciate where I am in that moment.

well, I release the belief that I can't enjoy who I am, where I'm living, where I'm working, etc ... each and every moment. I trust that I will continue to do the work AND that I can enjoy exactly where I am in each and every moment.

I let go of the belief that I am not enough. These are shackles that have been placed on me throughout my life. I take my power back.

and you? what are you letting go of during this flower moon? even if you don't share this with anyone, love yourself enough to take the time to ask this of yourself. reflect! I believe in you.

best believe I'll be journaling, taking a lil bathy-bath, reflecting on any other outdated beliefs that want to surface for me tonight. feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section, babe.

all right. I'll step down from my soap box, now. see you on the flippity flop.
